READ Rescued by Tordin (Olodian Alien Warrior, #1)
Worst sci fi book ever The lines were cheesy and it looked like the Kyra effortlessly learned how to handle alien technology and command her mate s troops to rescue Tordin Really With these books I have to suspend my disbelief and I m all right with that to immerse myself in the stories but it was so far unbelievable that I rolled my eyes every time this happened along with all the cheesy lines I can t believe I spent 299 on this book It still would ve been a high price even if it were free because I can t get back the almost 2 hours I spent reading it So freaking boring and slow reading this was like pulling teeth Being a woman in the business world has taught me many things the first being ou are a woman first and an employee second Kyra suffers some of the same problems I do in the essence of the fact she is a curvy woman who has to wear a mandated outfit that was uni sexed but still primarily is made for a manlol I felt her pain in the workplace and was able to connect with as a character on so many levels So the opening chapter reeled me in completely The details and excitement of being assigned to a space station are completely fascinating You can almost feel her joy at her accomplishments and her loneliness because she is doesn t interact well with others She shines in the face of tragedy and is able to help several shuttles escape during the station meltdown and save her best friend What she never counted on was her sexy rescuer stealing her heart and soulTordin felt the pull coming from the space station and risked the wraith of the IGA and his father to rescue the survivors from the failing vessel Terrians had been forbidden to Olodians due to several misinterpreted visits to their planet from long ago Tordin could not ignore the sense that he was being pulled there and thank goodness he trusted his instincts He knew what was on this vessel was important but he had no inkling that it would turn out to be the biggest treasure he ever discoveredMix in a bad guy that helped bring Kyra s space station down a spoiled prince and some world jumping and Five fags a day you have an exciting adventure that I could not put down Kyra and Tordin had a very rocky start due to her insecurities and his sense of duty Their story is beautiful and powerful and will leaveou with sense of hope and rightness in the world I loved this book so much that after I finished reading I ran over to to buy book two If Wicked Affairs p 2 you are like me and love a good Sy Fy romance with a great story then this is the series forou Hats off to Mychal to her fabulous writing and I cannot wait to read I was ready for a different approach to the whole alien abduction existence and finally I got itWith all due respect to all the authors who are writing about aliens I want to say FINALLY the aliens do not need us as breeders because they don t have women I was so over itSo Kyra is working on a spacestation Her incompetent boss who happened to be attracted to her and fired her managed to put the station on the path of destructionKyra and her friend Phoebe are saved by her managed to the station on the path of destructionKyra and her friend Phoebe are saved by Tordin alien prince who happened to be aroundWhat follows is the journey of Kyra into a completely different universe and discoveriesHaving said all that this book was definitely not that easy to read The pace was slow and had a lot of monologues descriptions and wholes in the plot Most of the time I skipped the monologue pages because they really didn t workHalf of the book was spent between descriptions monologues and pretty boring conversations At times there were some spiritual sparks that really peaked my interest The romance between Tordin and Kyra was kept at spiritual level and that damaged a lot the overall story Being the main characters they spent time away from each other that getting to know each other I still don t know why Tordin staye. Curvy intelligent and focused Kyra Simmons has her eye on the prize She’s locked her sights on becoming the top technical engineer for the most prestigious space program back on Earth That is until her life and plans are turned upside down in an instant on board a maintenance Space Station Stranded on the now failing Space station Kyra needs a miracle to survive She has no idea that the ‘foreign’ astronauts who show up to. ,
D away from his mate and why he was afraid she will see him as a god These inconsistencies and lack of clarifications damaged in my opinion the story line It didn t feel resolved in the end Tordin s decision to give in to the mating pull when it happened it didn t make sense So es the romance attraction was lacking most of the book While I appreciate an independent woman and all Kyra s new found leadership skills did not impress me even for a second A woman who has neve Marie s Tempting Reads ARC ReviewI was so happy with Rescued By Tordin by Mychal Daniels It was fun daring sexy and as good as Laurann Dohner s Zorn or Cyborg series I freaking ADORED Kyra Not only is she curvy but her temper matched her wonderfully sassy personality I love her take no crap attitude and how incredibly brave and smart she was Tordin was a sexy alien man that was surprisingly sweet protective caring and a total delicious alpha This book was jammed full of awesome ness From danger to sizzling romance to tons of action this book had it ALL I am totally captivated by this series "And Am Dying For "am dying for next one Rescued By Tordin was wonderfully written with some great characters and a terrific plot I can t believe I haven t read this book sooner I loved this book The cover appeals to me in so many ways and will have romance readers ogling the cover Once they read the blurb though No doubt it will have them buying the book and diving right in This book gets a FABULOUS FOUR AND A HALF SHOOTING STARS Its an action packed scorching romance that will have readers wanting books featuring these sexy aliens Well written and well thought out but just strong like not love for meO boy how on Earth or Terrain to I describe this book and my feelings for it Well 1st of all let me say this reallyreally appreciate all the work and seemingly well though out ideas in this bookhonestly even when a particular book and or story doesn t totally work for me per say I still appreciate when I can see a lot of hard work and effort has for me per say I still appreciate when I can see a lot of hard work and effort has put in to it Thank You Ms Daniels I ve definitely read WAY too many books of late the either felt last me the authorwriter started out with an interesting and or intriguing story idea with lots layers and twists and turns and then seemed to just get tired of it all and then just slapped a convenient ending on the story with out ever resolving any of the manymany plot points they d woven into the beginning of the story or story stories the felt phoned in and unfinished from the get to Thank ouWhat got me was even thought I appreciated all the time and effort in th descriptions of thoughts and actions there was very little description of ppl at times like I never had a clear description of Kyra her hair or eye color etc And despite all the chapters describing the shipstation being destroyed it felt most of the time was caught in description all thoughts and action but little Conversation at times for 12 the book it felt like inner monologue and little outer dialogue I have nice counted 9 12 pages between Kyra talking to someone one the space station between description and conversation honestly I just got to where I skimmed a good bit the book felt too esoteric going on and on about their Spiritual ideas And while interested not to say the least well I m mainly a romance reader and the romance once it gotten around to was nice and rather sweet the romance felt very often LOST between all the descriptions of life their on the ship and the ship and their deeply held beliefs etc The story lacked balance for me It felt like the romance took a backseat to and was t as important as the The Description Of Their Beliefs And The description of their beliefs and the in the book Now I really like Kyra allots he was spunky and et kind and caring but had a good head on her shoulders and was no body s foolI Like LOVED. Rescue her are out of this world literally Warrior Lord Tordin Crown Prince of Olodia knows he’s outside of the Mandates of the Intergalactic Alliance when he intercedes to rescue the survivors of the Earth space station But there’s something or someone pulling him in He’s not prepared for what he finds in the unassuming Earth female Try as he might to stay away the pull grows stronger and stronger to be with her His mis. ,
She was good at using her in intelligence to think for herself and et wasn t a know it all in the least and knew to take help and the
COUNSEL OF OTHERS WHEN NEEDED SOMETHINGSof others when needed somethings we all need to remember from "Time To Time But All "to time But all often the book just felt all about their belief system and Torins mission and Kyra and Torin were merely players in the story and not the leads the story should be revolving around But maybe that s just me Would love recommend it Yes If Sci fi type stories where the romance isn t that heavy is The Proposal your thing I d totally recommend itAnd I d Love a hotyummysexy loving alien like Torin added extras or not I loved how they all loved EarthTerrain faults and all knew out language and everything Will I keep it to retread again at some point Aaaaaaaaaa not sure while my visit toour world definitely wasn t a waste of my time or my money I didn t really enjoy it enough to want to return Thanks for the trip though and I hope Prey you never stop share noour wonderful adventures This was excruciating What was supposed to be an alien romance turned out to be the dullest ultimate fantasy of a mediocrity becoming a hero princess and Goddess while mating a gorgeous prince hunk in process The pace is sooooo slow it would put snail racing to shame the characters have no character the villain Brantley is a caricature the world building is non existing the conversations between characters are lengthy monologues that go on and on about nothingwe have almost two pages of discussion about the hair length and would the aliens really use OK in conversation The writing was so uninspiring that when I was not awningit had me rolling eyes non stop Honestly the lips of her sex involuntarily uivered in response and her body prepared itself by releasing of her wet nectar references to her lady lips and womanly ones and my absolutely favorite this was definitely not a gherkin pickle it was like a hulk size cucumber wow Wow indeed how bad is that I have an extreme intolerance for writers who compare genitalia to food items Recommended only to those readers who suffer from insomnia and decide to medicate themselves without use of pharmaceuticals FREE on today 8282020 Kyra Simmons never thought she would be sexual assaulted at work then fired then locked up then charged with saving everyone on the space station she worked on then left to be one of just a few survivors of the space station Warrior Lord Tordin Crown Prince of Olodia never understood his fascination with the particular side of the many galaxies He was just drawn to this one repeated throughout his life It wasn t until a distress call came and they moved closer that he knew there was something different at work This was an interesting sci fi fantasy romance that gave one earth woman a chance to be than she could have ever dreamed possible DNF The POV is heavily the FMC I d like to ever dreamed possible DNF The POV is heavily the FMC I d like to of a balance between the heroheroine One chapter skewed into a side character pov but never returned Contraction in character personality like Tordin is supposed to be a leader but he is wishy washy about whether to interfere in the crash of Kyra s ship Kyra is highly educated but puts up with sexual harassment for 2 ears without telling anyone other than her bff Lots of plot elements were thrown in suddenly to make the story work with no foreshadowing Like the villain at the end which appeared out of nowhere and the sudden save by an external character Kyra acclimated to the alien world using this magical water like substance that was used for everything It was a little too convenient and ended a lot of the external struggles she maybe have had Narrative was heavily telling with large chunks of internal monologue in the middle of conversations It really slowed down the pace and distances the reader from the story 25 stars. Sion depends on his ability to stay focused and be prepared but that’s almost impossible with Kyra in his thoughts and dreams On the alien mother ship speeding away from Earth forever Kyra’s biggest problem is not getting back to Earth; it’s how not to fall for this alien Warrior Lord who's the actual man of her dreams Can she find a way to realize her dreams of power and recognition now that she’s been rescued by Tordi.
